Dace Animation- The Drum-matic Girl

Here is my animation from the second week with Mike Nguyen.
We could design our own character and make them dance. I designed my own character, lots of fun.
I made it kind of Straight-Ahead, trying out a way of animating that Mike recommended of: Pose-to-Pose with short distance between the poses. It's very fun to animate this way, and easier to feel the character. It also makes you improvise a lot on the way and not be so strict with your plan.

Non Dialogue Acting Animation- Blind Date

For the past 2 weeks we had master Mike Nguyen to teach us the ways of 'The Force', and also Animation.
It has been very inspiring to work with Mike, and the whole idea behind Animation became a lot more clear to me.

The assignment was a non-dialogue acting, in which the character waits for a blind date, and we needed to express his emotion. We were given the option to choose between a few Disney characters, I chose Roger from 101 Dalmatians, because I really like his performance in the film.
